For 4 persons:
1 big onion
30g green olives
30g black olives
200g canned tuna
(optional) 200g tomato “passata” (pureed tomatoes)
Salt, extra virgin olive oil, black pepper, hot chili
This recipe is called “student’s pasta”, because it can be done super quickly and with very cheap ingredients… but tasty nevertheless!
In a pan, heat the olive oil, add the onion, the capers and the olives and let fry for 2-3 minutes. Add the tuna and let cook for some more minutes. If you want the sauce to be creamier, you can add the passata and let cook for 10 minutes. Cook the pasta according to package directions, drain and mix with sauce. Top with fresh parsley and some extra virgin olive oil.
