Infrastructure & Systems Engineer

Your journey

We are looking for an experienced Infra/System Engineer to help operate, maintain, and improve our infrastructure. Our current environment is primarily datacenter-based, and we are gradually transitioning to a hybrid setup that integrates AWS cloud services.

In this role, you will be responsible for the availability, scalability, and security of our systems and networks. You will work hands-on with Linux servers, networking equipment, and cloud platforms, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, reliable deployments, and secure access for our teams.

This is a hands-on technical role, ideal for someone with strong problem-solving skills and deep knowledge of system and network administration who enjoys keeping complex infrastructures stable and efficient.

This position offers a hybrid work mode, combining on-site collaboration with flexible remote work.


Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain Linux-based systems in our datacenter and AWS cloud.
  • Administer networking components, including routing, VPNs, firewalls, and secure remote access.
  • Manage Kubernetes clusters, ensuring availability, scalability, and smooth deployments.
  • Apply infrastructure-as-code practices using tools such as GitLab, Terraform, and Ansible.
  • Maintain and improve monitoring, logging, and alerting systems (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Zabbix, New Relic).
  • Support development and product teams with infrastructure-related needs.
  • Contribute to incident response, troubleshooting, and on-call duties.
  • Establish incident response strategies and contribute to on-call procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with internal security and operational policies (e.g., GDPR, data protection).
  • Evaluate and maintain third-party tools, hardware, and services..




We look for

  • 5+ years of experience in system and/or network administration.
  • Solid knowledge of Linux server administration (Ubuntu preferred).
  • Experience with datacenter operations and exposure to AWS cloud services.
  • Hands-on experience managing Kubernetes in production environments.
  • Strong networking skills (TCP/IP, VPNs, routing, switching, firewalls).
  • Practical experience with automation tools (Terraform, Ansible, GitLab CI/CD).
  • Experience with monitoring/alerting tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Zabbix, New Relic).




Nice to have would be

  • Experience with Rancher for Kubernetes cluster management.
  • Familiarity with Foreman and/or Puppet for provisioning and configuration.
  • Knowledge of service meshes (e.g., Istio).
  • Background in IT security or compliance (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR).
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows.
  • Relevant certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect, Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), and/or CCNP.
